Fabulous Places to stay
Sometimes great getaways are more about where you stay than where you go. Here are some of Northern Indiana’s most memorable places to stay.
1. Discover the many perks at the executive-class Inn at Aberdeen

The original farmhouse now at the core of the Inn at Aberdeen was built in 1856. The family grew apples and it was known as Timberlake Farm because of the heavily wooded land, variety of lakes and streams and rich hunting area. John and Linda Johnson, the Inn’s current proprietors, purchased the land in 1995. From 150+ years of history and with a dedication to the future comfort of our guests, our renovations preserved much of the past while creating a wonderful getaway and elegant meeting space. In the spring of 1997, a nearby 18-hole championship golf course was designed by Michael Hurdzan.
The Inn at Aberdeen is dedicated to making your respite with us, be it for pleasure or business, both a memorable and fulfilling experience. Our staff is here to meet your every need. Most suites feature a Jacuzzi, a fireplace and/or a balcony. All rooms include ceiling fan, premium TV with STARZ & ENCORE, your own DVD & VCR, a desk, easy chair, free local calls, clock radio, hair dryer, robes and amenity basket (soap, shampoo/conditioner, hand lotion, bubble bath, bath grains). Guests also enjoy Wi-Fi wireless Internet throughout the Inn, Flavia coffee and tea bar, evening dessert, unlimited snacks & beverages, full breakfast, morning paper, our Library, our Solarium, and the Gazebo & gardens.
